2006 - The giant oak at the edge of the yard at Grove Hill.
Grove Hill Pottery was founded in 1998 by Leslie Bradsher, owner & potter. The studio is located on the farm settled by my great, great grandfather in 1839 which he named Grove Hill due to the large oaks in the grove which surrounds the original homeplace. Since this farm provides the inspiration for my work it seemed fitting to name my pottery after the farm. My hand carved pieces represent this large oak which is still standing today.
